9th August 2007 Windsurfing: Brog Race Wind Direction: NNE Wind Stength: F2 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: Hot Sea Temperature: Bathtub Weather: Cloudless Max Speed: Not a lot Distance Covered: A few A Brog race in the doldrums. Last week was cancelled due to a lack of wind. This week looked choppy by comparison, er I don't think so. 2 laps of a triangle and a sausage, if you get my drift. It took ages and the sweat was getting in my eyes towards the end. THe biggest problem however, was the dreaded WEED. Huges clumps and it was quite a torment navigating around them to try and avoid cloggin up the fin. Get clogged and it was like a low speed spin out. I stopped twice and removed it, as it slowed me down so much. I came 5th. Well done to Phil for coming 3rd. The Hoff won once more, and has now won the series. |
